We use things, systems, processes as long as we recognize failure. Failure motivates and encourages creativity and may let us think about what should be changed or improved.

The object »dysfunctional« is a stands for clothes but it also represents constructed norms and systems.
We have to adapt any time to schedules and organize our life around already existing schedules. Often we do not question this adaptation anymore. 
 This exploration is a persiflage of an »overly-designed« environment and an object that questions the role of design in our society.

The functional unit needs to be set up by following the instructions resulting in a planned (dys)function. Personal belongings are dropped after 7 minutes.
A statement, a playful or an annoying object, a stand for clothes, a vulnerable system or just a machine.
