Dysfunctional

We use things, systems, processes as long as we recognize failure. Failure motivates and encourages creativity and may let individuals think about what should be changed or improved.

The object »dysfunctional« is a stands for clothes but it also represents the system time.
We have to adapt any time to schedules and organize our life around already existing schedules. Often we do not question this adaption anymore. This idea and with its realisation may be understood as a charicature of another system that schedules our lifetime. A persiflage of an »overly-designed« environment and a question of what design is good for.
The functional unit needs to be set up by following the instructions redulting in a planned (dys)function. Personal belongings are dropped after 7 minutes.

Whether one uses, denies or manipulates it may reflect ones approach to things and systems of our everyday life.

A statement, a playful or an annoying object, a stand for clothes, a vulnerable system or just a machine.
