Balancing Act

The balancing act focuses on the individual ecological footprint by making individual data comprehensable in an interactive installation.
The idea considers global climate change to be a tradegdy of the commons, according to which freely available but limited resources are not efficiently used and threatened by overuse which threatens the stakeholders themselves.

The effects of everyday and individual lifestyle are made visible and come alive on a seesaw by means of shifting weights.

In the sense of the commons, a communicative play emerges with references to the global effects of one's own action that are not always immediately visible in reality.
